How we met them
Exactly the way ITD uses the tool today. On 19 May 2026 at 6:10 am, a message written by our AI — anchored in ITD's actual business — was submitted through the contact form of their own website. At 8:11 am, two hours later, the Managing Director replied:
“This is indeed interesting. Could we talk about it on Friday, between 10 and 11, or in the afternoon?” — Pierre Jacqueau, Managing Director, ITD — reply received 19/05/2026 at 8:11 am (translated from French)
The client
Official Saint-Gobain Solar Gard distributor for France: technical films applied to existing glazing — heat-control, safety, privacy — without replacing any window frames. Over 35 years in the trade and a network of around 400 partner installers nationwide.
- Contact : Pierre Jacqueau, MD
- Positioning : Official Saint-Gobain Solar Gard distributor
- Headquarters : Le Plessis-Belleville, France
- Track record : 35+ years
- Network : ~400 partner installers
The problem
ITD's acquisition stood on two legs: word of mouth, and a sizeable Google Ads and Bing budget with eroding returns. A passive model — waiting for customers to search — with no lever to reach the segments that don't yet know this product category exists.
The mission: take back control with an active, targeted, cost-controlled channel, with the longer-term goal of reducing the advertising dependency.
Campaign 1 — Local authorities
Target: town halls, inter-municipal authorities and their facilities — schools, sports halls, media libraries, community halls. The angle: summer heat in public buildings, with summer as the ideal installation window before the new school year.
Each message carried the arguments that matter to this audience: installation scheduled outside school hours, no window replacement, natural light preserved (unlike blinds), quotes compatible with public procurement, free on-site study.
- 2,633 messages delivered
- 18,459 URLs analysed
- not exhausted remaining target
Campaign 2 — Healthcare
After the June 2026 heatwave, ITD identified a short regulatory window: funding released to equip care homes and disability facilities with cooling systems, solar films eligible, spending to be committed before 31 August. We built the campaign around that window in under six days.
The differentiator: three distinct messages, routed automatically according to the nature of the facility detected on its website.
- 5,054 messages delivered
- 180,634 URLs analysed
- 3 routed messages
A · Care homes & medico-social — Mentions the funding scheme and its deadline: the decisive information for these facilities.
B · Healthcare, non medico-social — Hospitals, clinics, practices: no mention of funding. Angle: patient comfort and consultation privacy (privacy film).
C · Hospital operating care homes — Hybrid case: the message covers both perimeters, care and accommodation.
The safety rule that governs the routing: when eligibility is in doubt, never mention the scheme. Announcing funding to a non-eligible facility is the worst possible scenario for the client — exactly the kind of guardrail generic mass sending cannot produce.
Steering mid-flight
One overly broad targeting keyword — “retirement home” — had captured over 155,000 URLs at a 0.25% yield. Caught mid-run, the segment was cleaned out and replaced with a national healthcare list built on NAF codes 86.10Z to 88.99B, filtered for the presence of a contact form.
As returns on the healthcare campaign ran proportionally lower than on local authorities, execution was pushed well beyond the quoted volume until the available target was exhausted — the overrun on us, zero extra cost to the client.
Messages actually sent
Excerpts from the campaigns, as written by the AI. The house rule: the opening line anchors on one concrete, distinctive detail of the prospect — never on a list of services. The campaign targeted French public bodies and firms — the messages are shown in their original French, exactly as sent.
N° 06 — Centre Hospitalier Paul Cabanis, Beaune-la-Rolande (C · Hybride hôpital + EHPAD)
The numbers
Local authorities campaign
- Messages delivered : 2,633
- Successful URLs : 2,600
- URLs analysed : 18,459
- Send window : 6 – 8 July 2026, three sessions
- Target : not exhausted — 1,500 to 2,000 sends left
Healthcare campaign
- Messages delivered : 5,054
- Successful URLs : 4,333
- URLs analysed : 180,634
- Send window : 23 – 27 July 2026, three sessions
- Target : exhausted
Deliberate over-delivery: execution ran past the quoted volume until the target was exhausted, at our expense. 5,054 messages went out for 4,333 URLs with a final “success” status: the gap is deposits that were confirmed, then reclassified by later attempts — the two counters do not measure the same thing.
What came back
Excerpts from replies received in the client's inbox, as recorded by the dashboard. Private facilities are anonymised; public entities are named.
“Following your email — could we set up a meeting to discuss a quote for the solar films?” — Director of a care home — healthcare campaign (translated)
“I have forwarded your message to the directors of the 11 member facilities of our group.” — A healthcare cooperation group — which then requested an on-site visit (translated)
“Please send us a quote for the following: rolls of heat-control film…” — A care home in central France, after a phone call (translated)
“I got your contact through the group. Could you put together a quote for our bay windows and two corridor windows?” — Care-home director, municipal social centre of Villeneuve-lès-Béziers — arrived through the group cascade, without ever being contacted directly (translated)
No response rate published: our dashboard still separates human replies from automated acknowledgements imperfectly. We prefer real, verifiable returns to a flattering percentage.
